Serif CraftArtist Compact is a scrapbooking and graphic design software that lets you digitally create craft projects. With its wide customization options and variety of professionally-designed “digikits”, you can create and customize original designs of photobooks, scrapbooks, greeting cards, invitations, and keepsakes—all without having to manually cut and paste them onto paper like you traditionally would. CraftArtist Compact allows you to use templates of any size and decorate your work with realistic-looking accessories like ribbons and cut-outs. You can also use brush effects like you had painted them yourself. It’s even integrated with DaisyTrail, where you can connect with other artists and share your works. However, this program’s features aren’t wholly free, as some design kits can only be downloaded and bought from DaisyTrail. Other than that, though, this is a powerful software for the creative type.
